MITAHATO FRENCH VILLAGE

FINALLY, A PLACE WHERE KENYANS CAN GO TO PRACTISE THEIR SPOKEN FRENCH -FOR FREE!!

There exist in Kenya many good institutions that offer quality French courses, and over the years many Kenyans have benefitted from these institutions and learned French. Most of these Kenyans have been awarded certificates showing they successfully followed French courses. But as everyone knows, learning a language means nothing if there is no place for one to practice the language afterwards.
Unfortunately this has been the case in Kenya, leading to a situation where we have many people with French certificates but who are unable to express themselves in French! And given the costs associated with travel to francophone countries, our Kenyan "French certificate holders" very soon forget what they learned and become as poor in French as those who never studied French in the first place. The Mitahato French Village is trying to cure this problem by availing such Kenyans a serene French-speaking space where interested Kenyans can visit, for free, mingle with locals who are can speak French, listen to French stories and French music, participate in different activities in French, and have access to a well-stocked French library!
